Please note: ALL physical student organization events and meetings have been cancelled for the remainder of the Spring semester. We encourage organizations to continue to meet and build community virtually via WARRIORHUB, online portals, social media, and/or phone. In addition, all Warrior Leadership Program workshops have also been cancelled on both the Turlock and Stockton campuses.

Due to the continued gathering restrictions and the university’s move to on-line classes and office support, ALL physical student organization events and meetings have been cancelled for the remainder of the Spring semester. We encourage organizations to continue to meet and build community virtually via WARRIORHUB, online portals, social media, and/or phone.
Warrior Leadership Programs Cancelled for the Spring 2020 semester

Student Events and Meetings Update

Effective immediately all student organization events and meetings for the remainder of March will be cancelled. Student Leadership Development staff will begin cancelling events and meetings in 25Live today, Friday 3/13. If your organization needs to have a meeting, please do so via phone, Zoom, or another online portal.
We are still assessing the student organization events and meetings in April and May. There are many factors that contribute to our decision making and we are using the recommendations from the County Department of Public Health on Community Gatherings bulleted below to assist us in this process. We will update you as soon as possible. We encourage student organizations to also use these recommendations to assess planned events and potentially cancel as appropriate.
Large gatherings that include 250 people or more should be postponed or cancelled.
Smaller gatherings held in venues that do not allow social distancing of six feet per person should be postponed or cancelled.
As the President shared in her recent letter to the campus community, if possible, please reconsider your Spring Break plans if they involve air travel — especially to states in the US or countries where the COVID-19 epidemic is active and/or evolving. Students continuing with their current personal travel plans, especially to international locations, should be sure to review the CDC’s travel advisories and US State Department Travel Advisories before commencing travel. Before traveling, students should verify the terms of their health insurance coverage and determine what types of health care, and what circumstances will be covered if they travel out-of-state or to another country.
