Inaugural California Student Leadership Conference Friday, October 16 - Saturday, October 17 @ 9:30am - 3:30pm The Inaugural California Student Leadership Conference aims to leverage the multiplicity, the inclusivity, the talent, and the innovation of California higher education students, professionals, faculty, and community partners in a virtual space. Our conference theme is "Rise Up" which embodies our hope to strengthen and transform students to be change agents on campus and in the community. The conference also hopes to gather students, faculty and staff for dialogue, reflection, support, empathy, learning and partnership to build a path forward. You've Got a Friend in Me Monday 10/12 @ 8:00am-5:00pm All students, faculty, staff, administration, and campus community are welcome to submit a positive message in support of undocumented students and their families. These messages will be shared on our social media during our Undocumented Student Week of Action on October 12-16 to showcase our campus support. Help us show our students how important they are to us! Our goal is to reach 100 messages. Please feel free to share with others who may want to show their support to our undocumented community. Panel Discussion And Q&A With Young Movement Leaders Wednesday 10/14 @ 12:00-1:00pm In our continuous celebration of undocu-week of action we had a partner event with United We Dream. The purpose of the event was to discuss the role of undocumented youth and allies in the upcoming 2020 election. We went over what’s at stake for our community and why you need to get involved. The importance for us to come together and learn how to take action! Attendees got the opportunity to hear the many ways they can join the movement.
