Student Leadership Retreat
The Student Leadership Retreat (SLR) helps prepare Stanislaus State students for leadership roles within the community and beyond. SLR provides a learning experience designed to identify and foster individual leadership potential and civic responsiveness in students. The SLR combines effective leadership training with integrative service skills training to equip students with the essential tools needed to meet the personal and societal challenges of the new millennium.
Student Leadership Awards
Each May, the Division of Student Affairs hosts a ceremony honoring outstanding student leaders and organizations. Some of the awards would include the outstanding Greek, academic, special interest and cultural student organizations, the Student Organization Award of Excellence, the President's Trophy for philanthropic service, the club advisor of the year, the Miriam V. and John L. Keymer Memorial Award, and the Outstanding Student Leader of the Year Award.
Student Event Coordinator Training
All Student Event Coordinator's must attend one Student Event Coordinator Training if they have not already attended as part of the 2017-2018 chartering process. The trainings will be held at the following dates and times:
February 6 at 1:00 p.m. in MSR 130c
March 21 at 10:00 a.m. in MSR 130c
April 24 at 1:00 p.m. in MSR 130c
Learn how to use WarriorHub to its full functionality and how it can benefit your club or organization. There are lots of great features within WarriorHub that can benefit your organization such as: archiving meeting minutes, agendas or pictures, communicating with members, creating RSVP forms, developing a public website, tracking community service hours, hosting voting or election polls, syncing to your club or organization social media accounts, creating a calendar of meetings and events and much, much more. The trainings will be held at the following dates and times:
February 21 at 10:00 a.m. in MSR 130c
March 6 at 1:00 p.m. in MSR 130c
The Treasurer Training is required for Treasurers to attend who were recently elected to their position or who did not already attend as part of the 2017-2018 chartering process.
