Registration and Payment Information

Registration Information:

How to register for New Student Orientation: 

  1. Log into your MYCSUStan portal account (http://my.csustan.edu/)
  2. Under the Admissions section of the page, you will see a link for New Student Orientation. Select this link to go to the registration page. 
  3. Once you have selected the NSO link, you will be taken to the Orientation Reservation System. This is where you will confirm your personal information and select next.
  4. You will now be able to select a workshop (orientation). Freshmen planning on bringing guests, please select the Freshmen Orientation with Guests option. Otherwise, select whichever orientation you would like to attend. 
  5. After selecting a workshop you will be directed to the Workshop Reservation page to review the workshop (orientation) information and the fees that will be placed on your account. 
  6.  Confirm the Orientation Workshop Total Fees and your Contact Information 
  7. You are now registered for New Student Orientation. The Orientation Reservation page gives you all the information yopu may need regarding your orientation. You can come back to this page at any time by selecting the New Student Orientation link on your student center. If any changes need to be made to your reservation, please contact the NSO office at nso@csustan.edu or (209)664-6757, option #1.  You may also pay for your Orientation fees by selecting the Make a Payment button at the bottom of the page. 

Payment Information:

To pay the $75 NSO fee please follow instructions below and submit payment by the deadline. Failure to pay by the deadline may cause your admissions to be cancelled. 

  1. Log into your MYCSUStan portal account (http://my.csustan.edu/)
  2. On the finance section of your student center click on the green bar that reads make apayment/view e-bill.
  3. Select the New Student Orientation Fall fee
  4.  Add fee to basket by clicking on the add to basket button.
  5. Click the Checkout button
  6. Select method of payment
  7.  Complete your payment Checkout PAYMENT INFORMATION
  • Pay with your Checking account on-line with no additional charge.
  • Pay by Credit Card - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card only with 2.9% convenience fee.
  • Be sure to indicate the name and student ID number of the student on the check.
  • Checks should be made payable to Stanislaus State.

Freshman:

Class Registration

Incoming freshmen may be required to register for specific courses during their first semester at Stanislaus State (remedial courses, pre-requisites for specific majors, etc.). Trained academic advisors will assist students in enrolling students in these particular courses. Students will choose the remaining courses.

All information about this process, including resources, will be e-mailed to students' university e-mail accounts. No other form of communication will be used.

Testing Information for all Incoming Freshmen

Please refer to our Website All entering undergraduates who are not exempt from the English Placement Test (EPT) and/or the Entry Level Mathematics Test (ELM) must take them prior to enrollment in any classes at Stanislaus State. To attend the upcoming orientations, you must take your EPT/ELM tests by the dates indicated above.
