Presented by: Warrior Chemistry Club, Nursing Students Association, Psychology Club, and Stan State STEM Ambassadors.
Organized by faculty and staff in the College of Science with support from the Office of Service-Learning, College of Education, Kinesiology, and Social Work and students in the college, the event typically brings more than 2,000 visitors to campus. Science Day was established and has been principally directed by Mark A. Grobner, a professor in the Department of Biology. One of the fundamental goals of the event is to expose young students to new fields of science, and especially to spark an interest in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
