Dear Campus Community,
On Wednesday, Feb. 20, University Police located posters and stickers that were in violation of the University posting policy displayed in various locations around campus. The University Police Department (UPD) and Student Affairs representatives have taken swift action to enforce the posting policy.
We understand that there are some concerns within our campus community about these postings. We urge everyone to please alert UPD at (209) 667-3114 if you have concerns about any items posted around campus. UPD will initiate the proper action steps. You are encouraged not to remove posters, but to take a picture and share it with UPD at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The campus will continue to meet with students and others to provide ongoing support and information. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is of utmost importance and our primary concern. We will continue to take action steps as appropriate.
Should you feel emotionally distressed at any time, please contact the Student Health Center, Psychological Counseling Services or our StanCares team. If you have questions or concerns as a student or parent and would like to talk with someone, please contact Dean of Students Ron Noble at (209) 667-3050.
Thank you for your continued commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive campus environment.
Ellen Junn, Ph.D.
