Dear Warrior Community,
I hope this email finds you adjusting to all of the new changes, staying safe and in good health.
As our Spring Break comes to a close this week, with our recent transition to online/remote learning and operations, it is extremely important that we reinforce social distancing practices for the areas that remain open on both our Turlock and Stockton campuses. Buildings that remain open are described below.
As required by the Governor, the campus is only open for essential functions. Therefore, we are asking everyone who is not designated as fulfilling essential duties on campus to please refrain from coming into campus offices to work. If you are uncertain, please contact your college dean or your supervisor.
One essential function is permitting students who have no other options to access computers and the internet in three open campus computer labs.
Naraghi Hall & Science 1
Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. - 12 noon.
Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - 12 midnight
Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
In addition, there is a limited supply of Chromebooks available to students who do not already have a reliable personal computer. Students may request loaner ChromeBooks and cellular hotspots by completing a reservation request form.
MSR and the Student Health Center are also open. Students seeking to access the Student Health Center should call ahead at (209) 667-3396. The Student Services Building will only be open when the Warrior Food Pantry is distributing food.
Mail Services, located in MSR, remain open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. All mail will be sorted and held in the mailroom for pickup by department representatives. Departments expecting time sensitive mail should arrange for a representative to pick up at the mailroom during the condensed office hours. Receiving/Property Control will be open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Stan Prints will be open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Limited services may be available in some instances. See the Support Services FAQs or email Support Services with any other questions.
It is VERY important to remember to practice social distancing and other hygiene recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Facilities Management continues to sanitize work areas, as well as frequently touched areas and surfaces. In addition, the open computer labs are disinfected several times a day with instructions posted to clean the mouse, keyboard and area around the keyboard before and after each use. Additionally, keyboard covers have been placed on each keyboard to facilitate regular sanitizing. Please do not remove these covers.
As you know, this situation is constantly evolving and changing. If there is a need to alter building access in the future, we will be sure to communicate any updates to you. Please continue to check your email often and visit our COVID-19 Updates & FAQs for the most up-to-date information.
Once again, we deeply appreciate everyone’s willingness to work together during this challenging time. Thank you for your flexibility, patience and understanding. Please take good care of yourselves and your family during this time, too.
