Celebrating President Junn’s Key Accomplishments at Stan State

During President Junn’s tenure, Stanislaus State made an annual impact of $770.5 million to its six-county service region in fiscal year 2021-2022. Junn also contributed the greatest level of philanthropic giving of any president at the University. She surpassed a five-year, $15 million fundraising target established upon her arrival, raising $16.1 million.

President Junn led efforts to raise private support for the newly renovated J. Burton Vasché Library, bringing in more than $1 million from more than 200 donors to support technology, furnishings and innovation. In this campaign, President Junn committed a $50,000 naming gift with her husband, Dr. Allan Greenberg. This gift is in addition to her original $50,000 gift in 2017-2018, which seeded the President’s Central Valley First-Generation Scholars program.

The universities are partnering with pre-K-12 school districts and strategizing with regional leaders and organizations to increase the number of men of color who are eligible to apply to, accepted to and enroll in higher education. The initiative aims to send an additional 1,300 young men of color to each region’s University of California and California State University campus within five years.
