The Penumbra Literary & Art Journal staff are excited to participate in our Spring charity event on April 30th from 5-6 pm. That evening, students staffed by our journal will perform live over Zoom Stan State Professor Arnold Anthony Schmidt’s one-act play “The Ghost of Chance, Or, Prometheus Unbound.” This one-act play was published in Penumbra’s Spring 2020 print issue but has not been acted out for the public yet due to COVID-19. We are excited to announce that the public is now able to see this lovely piece live via Zoom! Our very own Arnold Schmidt will be in attendance to see his piece come to life and has graciously offered to conduct a Q&A session with the audience and cast. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for entertainment and lively discussion!
Anyone interested in reading the play in the Spring 2020 print journal or exploring the other wonderful submissions can check out the 2020 Spring Issue on CSU Stanislaus’ Website. We look forward to seeing you all on April 30th!
