Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place winners at undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral level for the local competition. (Qualitative and Quantitative Undergraduate and Master's level have separate categories)
First place: $500
Second place: $250
Third place: $100
Winners must complete a W9 form (PDF) and return a signed copy to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) in Mary Stuart Rogers Building 250.

The Student Research Competition promotes excellence in undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral scholarly research and creative activity by recognizing outstanding student accomplishments.
Campus Student Research Competition
On March 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., CSU Stanislaus will host a Student Research Competition in the Mary Stuart Rogers Building. Winners of the local competition will receive cash prizes.
The purpose of the Student Research Competition is twofold:
- to showcase excellent research conducted by CSU Stanislaus undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral students in all academic disciplines, and
- to determine which of the student presenters will advance and represent CSU Stanislaus at the system-wide competition at CSU Pomona, California.
The deadline for submission of registration forms (PDF) and research summaries to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is February 15th, 2013.

CSU System-wide Competition
Up to six competitors from CSU Stanislaus will advance to the CSU system-wide competition on May 10-11, 2013 at CSU Pomona. (A small team of students making a single presentation counts as one entrant.) The University will pay all travel expenses for the competitors. For more information on the system-wide competition, please see CSU Student Research Competition Procedures and Guidelines.
Travel Expenses: Each student researcher attending the system-wide competition must complete a travel form and return a signed copy to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) in Mary Stuart Rogers Building 250. Forms will be emailed to winners.
