International students can come to Stan State to study for either a semester or a year of undergraduate or one semester of graduate coursework. Classes are for credit, and students will receive a Stan State transcript upon completion.
You must submit the following for admission:

|TOEFL iBT||61 with part scores of 15|
|TOEFL ITP||500 with part scores of 50|
|IELTS||6.0 with part scores of 6.0|
Students can receive an exemption for submitting TOELF/IELTS scores by submitting proof of one of the following:
- Official admission test score report (ACT or SAT I)
- Transfer students who have taken an English Composition course at U.S. Higher Education Institution with a grade of B or higher.
- Attended a U.S. high school for 3 years.
If your English scores fall in these ranges, you may apply to take a semester of Intensive English courses plus a semester of Study at Stan State undergraduate courses.
You will be required to pass all Intensive English courses with a C or better and the TOEFL ITP with a 500 or better in order to progress to undergraduate courses.

|IELTS||6.5 Band with part scores of 6.0|
If your Intensive English scores fall in these ranges, you may apply to take a semester of Intensive English courses plus a semester of Study at graduate courses.
You will be required to pass all Intensive English courses with a C or better and the TOEFL ITP with a 550 or better in order to progress to graduate courses.
4. Certification of Finance and a financial statement (no older than six months)
We strongly recommend that students bring an up-to-date English transcript or translation from their home institution showing the classes already completed. This will allow students to show when they have met prerequisites for upper division classes they may wish to take.
2018-2019 Fees and Costs for the Academic Year
