The information on this page, will help you determine which application best fits your needs. You are an International Students if: 

  • You are not a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident (Green Card)
  • You hold or intend to hold non-immigrant F-1/J-1 visa status while you are studying at Stanislaus State.

English Language Program (ELP)

Students who solely wish to improve their English skills.

Conditional Admission (ELP+Undergraduate)

Students who wish to be admitted to a program, but are not yet proficient in English, can enroll in the English Language Program first in order to improve their English skills with the goal to gain full admission into the university at a later date.

Undergraduate Admission

Students who have completed or will complete their high school degree, can continue their educational goals by applying for one of our many majors.

Graduate Admission

Student who have completed an undergraduate degree, can take their educational goals to the next level by applying for one of our Master’s or our Doctoral program.  Stanislaus State presently does not conditionally admit applicants to graduate programs (Masters or Ph.D.) who have not provided a TOEFL, IELTS or ELS Language Center Score with their application.
