OAT Video Library

Welcome to our Video Library!

At the Office of Academic Technology, we create, facilitate, and host workshops to help our faculty at Stanislaus State learn more about academic technology. It is our goal to ensure that every one of our faculty members that want or need assistance receives it. We have numerous workshops each covering a wide array of topics from Canvas, Panopto, Ally, migration, and more. We at the Office of Academic Technology understand between teaching classes, grading, and assisting students, that not all instructors can attend our workshops. It is for this reason that we have recorded our sessions to ensure that anyone can come and learn at their own pace. Our video library is growing with every workshop that we hold.

How It Works:

Our past workshops include the Virtual Winter Institute, Virtual Spring Institute, and Panopto-Canvas Series. We have broken each up into 3 categories. Click on the corresponding tile to navigate to the appropriate video library.

  • Canvas: Canvas is Stanislaus State's primary Learning Management System. In 2020 and into Spring 2021, OAT has facilitated the migration from Blackboard to Canvas. Here you will learn Canvas basics, modules, quizzes, assessments, as well as how to use the grade book.
  • External Tools & Online Pedagogy: It is likely that you have already used external tools in your Canvas or Blackboard courses. Here we will explore external tools for Canvas to help you facilitate your online classroom. Additionally, you will be learning how to learn and teach in an online environment became essential during the pandemic. We have instructional videos to help you navigate the online learning classroom at your own pace.
