Earn a Teaching Online Certificate by completing the seven workshops offered by Quality Matters.  Please explore funding options through your department Chair/Dean. For more information on QM, please contact Mary Jo Stanley, Director, School of Nursing at mstanley@csustan.edu.

Option 3: QLT Certificate Courses! - Beginner

Quality Learning and Teaching (QLT) Workshops from the Chancellor’s Office (CO). Multi-week cohort-based course. Please contact Dr. Shradha Tibrewal, Director FCETL at stibrewal@csustan.edu for more information. 

Option 4: Online Learning Consortium (OLC) - Beginner/Intermediate

Online Learning Consortium (OLC) - Beginner/IntermediateOLC Certificate programs are available. Please explore funding options through your department Chair/Dean. For more information on OLC, please contact Ms. Katrina Kidd, Director, Graduate Programs at kkidd@csustan.edu   

Prerequisites:

To register and successfully complete the OLC Teaching Certificate program participants need the following:

At least one-year online teaching experience or some online teaching experience + completion of New to Online: The Essentials Part 1, Getting Started workshop
An online or blended course that the participant can revise or create that is at least two weeks in duration.

Note: Participants with no prior online teaching experience are required to complete all three New to Online series of workshops starting with New to Online: Essentials, Part 1, Getting Started. New to Online: Essentials Part 2, Converting Your Course, and New to Online: Essentials Part 3, Course Design Basics workshops can be taken in any order prior to registering for the Certificate Program.

Option 5: Additional Resources (Free!) - Beginner

Canvas 101:
Self-Paced Introduction to Canvas (Stan State).  Learn all about Canvas and receive a "Canvas Warrior Badge" credential. Please email oat@csustan.edu to unlock the quiz and earn your Warrior Badge!

ACUE Online Teaching Toolkit:
To support instructors needing to make a quick transition to utilizing an online environment, the Association of College and University Educators is offering resources and recommendations that can be immediately put to use by instructors, to benefit both faculty and their students. Provide a justification summary of what you learned.

Fundamentals of Online Teaching Track:
LX Pathway, Credential: Digital Badge. Earn a digital badge.  

Note: You MUST complete ALL three Options to qualify for the stipend. Proof of completion: two digital badges and a justification summary on ACUE must be submitted to academicaffairs@csustan.edu.
