Caryl Mae Scott


Caryl Mae Scott is the principal flutist with the Stockton Symphony Orchestra. She has appeared as soloist with Beverly Sills and as guest artist with symphony orchestras and other groups throughout the Bay area. While living abroad, she performed with and directed several small and large ensembles. Mrs. Scott joined the Stanislaus State music faculty in the Fall of 1989. Her principal teachers include world renowned flutists Jean Pierre Rampal and Julius Baker, New York Philharmonic Murray Graitzer, formerly Principal Flutist, San Francisco Symphony and Leone Byuse, assistant Principal Flutist, Boston Pops Orchestra.
