Andrea (ZOOL 2250, BIO 1010, 4350, and 4400)
Hi everyone! My major is Exercise Science with a concentration in Rehabilitation, and I'm also working on a minor in Biological Sciences. I decided to become a tutor because I understand how demanding it can be trying to not only memorize, but also comprehend and connect the loads of information that are given in these courses. I'm here to help anyone who may feel stuck or is having difficulties with the material and make the learning process easier!
Ryan (Math 1030, 1070, 1080, 1410, 1420; CHEM 1100, 1110; Physics Courses)
Hi everyone, my name is Ryan. I’m currently a senior at Stan State and I’m set to go to graduate school this fall. I’ve been tutoring for four years now and it’s one of the most gratifying things that I do. I enjoy helping students gain an understanding of the topics that stressed them out before. I currently tutor the algebra and calculus based lower-division math courses, Chem 1100 and 1110, and any of the physics courses that you could possibly take here at Stan. I have open availability for at least a few hours each day from Monday through Friday, all of which you can see on StanTutor. I hope to see you soon!
Eli (Math 1080, 1410; CHEM 1100, 1110, 3010)
My name is Eli, and I am a junior majoring in chemistry. If you need help with general chemistry, organic chemistry, or some of the math classes recommended for success in STEM. I have times available in the afternoons Monday through Thursday. I would be happy to help.
Cassie (Lower Division Math courses)
My name is Cassie and I am a 4th-year mathematics major here at Stan State. I chose to become a tutor to help students who feel like they are overwhelmed with their math courses, or maybe that they are just not good at math. I tutor Monday through Friday and would be happy to meet with you and help you succeed in your math course this semester!
Bella (BIOL 1050, 1150, 3310; CHEM 3010; MATH 1410)
My name is Bella, and I am a third-year biology major with a minor in chemistry. I became a tutor because I love learning about science and hope to help students better understand these interesting topics. I tutor Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and I am happy to help!
