"What I love most about being a student employee at Stan State by far, is the tremendous amount of support that I have continuously received. There are so many opportunities to grow and develop as a student, and as an emerging professional. No matter what area you are employed under, the staff and faculty truly want what is the best and most beneficial for you and your growth."

"I wanted to be a student assistant because I felt that this could be a great stepping stone into a career in higher education. I wanted to learn about the college environment that Stan State staff work in and see if I would like it for a future career. After working at Stan State for over 2 years I think I can definitely see myself working in Higher education in the future. "

"I choose to work as a student employee because I wanted to get involved and give back to those who needed help. It was something that I did not plan because like many other things it was something that I was not aware that I could be part of. When the opportunity came I did not think it twice and decided to apply and give it a try if this was something that I had to be part of then I was going to get hired and it happened. As a future educator this opportunity was and would always be one of the greatest because you get so much experience as well as a door opening."
