Student Assistant

Student Assistants work under direct supervision and perform a range of duties involving administrative, clerical, manual, skilled or technical tasks.

Work-Study

The Work-Study Program is a federally funded grant program that provides employment for students to help with the cost of education. For more information and opportunities, visit the Work-Study page within Financial Aid & Scholarships.

Academic Student Assistant

Academic Student Employees are Teaching Associates, Graduate Assistants and Instructional Student Assistants hired by campus departments or hiring units to perform various academic-related duties. For more information and opportunities, visit the Faculty Affairs web page.

Learning Aligned Employment Program (LAEP)

LAEP is a state-funded grant program that provides employment for eligible students to help with the cost of education while gaining education-aligned, career-related employment. For more information, visit the LAEP page. Search for LAEP positions by clicking on the Student Assistant tile above and then typing “LAEP” into the Job Search field to filter LAEP positions.

International Student Employees

International Student Employees who have F-1 and J-1 visa status must follow a set of immigration regulations as outlined by the U.S. government in order to maintain their international student status. The following set of rules and regulations is a guide to properly maintaining international student status at Stanislaus State.
