Nationwide Pet Insurance

Nationwide is offering two benefit options for your pets. This insurance can cover your pet’s accidents, illness and even preventive care and wellness services. Plans are available for dogs, cats, birds, small mammals and exotics (such as reptiles). VSP Premier- Vision Upgrade

The Premier Vision Plan enables you to get a higher allowance for frames and contacts, fully covered standard progressive lenses, and more discounts. Eligible employees must enroll through VSP directly by calling (800) 400-4569. The additional cost will be deducted directly from their pay warrant. To enroll please visit the enrollment page and submit with your health benefit enrollment form or submit to VSP directly.

Health/Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA/DCRA)

The CSU Health/Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, a voluntary benefit for eligible employees, offers you the ability to pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses with pre-tax dollars. If you enroll in the plan, the contributions you make to your account are deducted from your paycheck before federal, state and FICA taxes are calculated. Your taxable income is reduced, and consequently, your taxable income reflected on your annual W-2 statement is reduced for expenses eligible to be reimbursed from the Health Care Reimbursement plan.  To enroll please visit the enrollment page.

Group Critical Illness

Critical Illness Insurance helps employees manage expenses during a serious illness such as, heart attack, severe stroke or invasive cancer. Participants can use the benefit, which is paid to them in a lump sum, for deductibles, copayments, rent or groceries as the employee or a family member recovers. Voluntary Employee-Paid Life Insurance

Employees may purchase protection for themselves and eligible family members including spouse/domestic partner and dependent children. To apply, make changes, or review benefits log in at The Standard website.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)

Offered by The Standard, pays a benefit to the employee or his/her selected beneficiary in the event of death due to an accident or dismemberment at a benefit level selected by the employee. Accident Insurance

 The Accident insurance pays a lump sum directly to you so you can help cover out-of-pocket expenses as you or a family member recuperates after an accident. Enrolling in coverage now is a small thing you can do to help make sure you and your loved ones keep moving forward after an accident happens. Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD)

Voluntary Long-Term Disability plan, offered by The Standard, provides loss of income protection (up to 60%) due to a qualified disability. For more information go to the Standard website or contact The Standard customer service at 1-800-378-5745.

Long-Term Care-CalPERS

Long-term care plans cover certain services provided in a setting other than an acute care unit of a hospital, such as a nursing home, residential care facility, adult day care center or in the home, according to the plan selected. Contact the CalPERS Long-Term Care Program at 1-800-908-9119.

Auto and Home Insurance

Auto and Home insurance is offered to all CSU employees, excluding Rehired Annuitants and Students, at a discounted rate through California Casualty. Verizon Wireless

Government employees may receive the 15% employee discount on voice plans of $34.99 and above and 20% discount on select data plans.

To register: go to verizon wireless click on employee discounts and add your corporate e-mail address. You will receive a confirmation email sent to your corporate email address inbox within minutes. Complete the process by opening the email and select "Register Your Line" follow the prompts to enter your name and primary mobile number information. Once registered you may continue on to "Get Shopping" to upgrade equipment or order new service with new equipment.
