the ethnic studies film festivalThe Ethnic Studies Film Festival (May 9-12, 2018) will showcase films that deal with a variety of critical topics, including: 

  • Race/racism
  • Power relations
  • Representation
  • Intersectionality
  • Empowerment
  • ​Activism/social change.

The film festival is FREE, open the public, and will take place at Stanislaus State and at the Modesto State Theater.
