A workplace divided: How to Create LGBTQ+ Inclusive Spaces
The workforce is still very white male-dominated, which includes “masculine leadership.” Folks of the LGBTQ+ community are regularly not considered for new positions or promotions for advancement. Folks have to often deal with gender expectations and co-workers who are uneducated and use language that marginalizes identities.
Our workspaces need a climate the fosters inclusiveness and openness so that folks can perform well on the job. This event will provide intentional job search tips and the factors necessary to promote and improve inclusion in the workplace.
