Event Details

The Undocumented Student Services at Stanislaus State invites you to participate in the Spring 2021 Undocu-Ally Training. The UndocuAlly Training will provide recommendations for Stanislaus State staff, faculty members, and academic advisors to practice allyship through knowledge, awareness, reflection, and action. Our training is designed in collaboration with the Admission and Enrollment Services, Financial Aid & Scholarship Office, Immigration Legal Services, and Undocumented Students. The training will cover the components below: 

  • History, recent laws and policies affecting undocumented youth and their families
  • Lived experiences of undocumented students and their families on campus and in the community at large
  • What it means to be an undocu-ally and how-to better support students and their families
  • Promoting best practices while working with undocumented students and their families. 

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Via Zoom Meeting. Please plan to attend the whole training. Certificates and resources will be sent to all attendees/Allies. If you have any questions, contact us at dreamers@csustan.edu
