The California State University, Stanislaus Student to Teacher Conference provides important and useful information, resources and teacher professional development. Workshops, facilitated by education professionals from the Central Valley and beyond, will cover a variety of innovative topics designed to support new and future teachers in their education and career goals. Serving over 200 new and future teachers each year, the Student to Teacher Conference provides a forum for educators to engage in conversation with peers and colleagues on effective teaching strategies and current educational trends.
Professional development rewards educators with personal and professional growth, greater job security, and career advancement. It helps teachers improve individual skills, qualify for salary increases, and meet certification requirements. In recent years, we have seen a growing appreciation for the potential impact of professional development on the overall school, not just individual classrooms.
