3rd Annual Black Power Matters: Black Power Still Matters

The 2021 Ethnic Studies Black History Month event at CSU Stanislaus will take place this year on Friday, February 26th from 5:30pm-8pm in a remote/online venue. The theme for the 3rd annual Black Power Matters program is: Black Power STILL Matters. This year we have performers and a panel in which participants will address why Black Power is still critical within their own work, and even with the defeat of Donald Trump, especially related to Black Lives Matter, unremitting police brutality, the urgent need for COVID-19 relief for Black communities, and the need for inter-sectional activism.
