This seminar is free and welcomes all faculty, staff, students and their guests.Supervisors – We ask that you encourage your staff to attend this event! Non-Smokers are highly encouraged to attend. Community members are welcome and cordially invited to attend!

Free Kits will be provided to everyone in attendance.

The Stanislaus State Smoke/Tobacco Free Healthy Living Task Force will be providing information regarding Executive Order #1108 for Stanislaus State being a Smoke and Tobacco-Free Campus. Information will also be provided regarding free confidential programs, on-site education and resources for smoking and tobacco use cessation.

Pamela Cross, will be a speaker at this event. Pamela is a Clinical Health Educator with Kaiser Permanente. She has a master’s degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Health Education.

She will be speaking about the risks of smoking and the benefits of quitting. Discussion will also include strategies and best practices to empower people who use nicotine products to become nicotine-free, and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. 

You do not have to be enrolled in a Kaiser Health Plan to participate in this event.
