Both flu and COVID-19 may be spreading this fall, so it's more important than ever to get an annual flu vaccine. The best time to get vaccinated is before flu viruses start to spread—typically by the end of October. Join us in saying "Boo to the Flu!" this flu season!
Per the Governor Guidance for higher education and with the support of the Chancellor's Office, getting a flu shot is highly recommended this flu season.
Safety & Risk Management and Human Resources, along with Kaiser Permanente, are hosting a Flu Shot Clinic for our employees. Registration is mandatory, and supplies are limited. Please arrive 5 minutes early to your scheduled shot time to complete paperwork, allowing for social distancing and safe practices to be followed. Face covering is required.
Other great options to get a flu shot this flu season include scheduling an appointment with your Primary Care Physician or scheduling an appointment at Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and participating Targets.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the Oct. 21 flu shot clinic has been rescheduled to Oct. 27 and 29. If you have already scheduled an appointment to get your flu shot on Oct. 21, you will need to log into your account and select a new date and time. You will receive an email from Kaiser regarding selecting a new date and time. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
