Seng Alex Vang, MA
Seng Alex Vang is a lecturer in the Ethnic Studies program at Stanislaus State and lecturer in the Merritt Writing Program at UC Merced. Vang completed his BA in Anthropology from Stanislaus State and MA in Ethnic Studies from UC San Diego. His areas of interest include racial and ethnic history, immigration laws and policy, and media representation. Vang has worked the past three years on several projects to preserve refugee community history and document 40 years of Hmong in America. He lives in Fresno and grew up in the Central Valley of California.
