Dr. Pao Lee is a Lecturer of Ethnic Studies who joined the Department of Anthropology, Geography and Ethnic Studies at Stanislaus State in 2014. He earned his Doctorate of Education in International and Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco in 1999 and his Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 1991 from Stanislaus State.
Dr. Lee speaks reads and writes five languages fluently, including Hmong, Lao, Thai, French and English. From 1991 to 2009, he developed and taught Hmong and Lao language courses in the Department of Modern Languages and Philosophy at Stanislaus State. He also taught Education courses and supervised student teachers for the Department of Teacher Education at Stanislaus State for over two years.
