Mission

EOP Peer Mentors are continuing Stan State students who have been through the college transition and know first-hand the challenges faced by first-generation college freshmen.  By sharing their own experiences as an EOP freshman the Peer Mentors support, empower, and guide freshmen through their first year which allows them to connect and create their own Warrior experience.

How Do I Join?

Students who have been accepted into the EOP Program will automatically be assigned an EOP Peer Mentor for their first year at Stan State.

Students will be contacted within the first week of school by their EOP Peer Mentor to set up a time they can meet.  Students will meet with their Peer Mentor twice a month in the fall semester and once per month in the spring to receive information and support, develop skills, and empower them to create a connection and sense of Warrior community at Stan State.
