COVID-19 Update: Computer Lab Closures

March 29, 2020

Dear Warriors,

Following the guidance provided by the Chancellor’s Office and in alignment with our public health officials, all computer labs located on the Turlock and Stockton campuses are closed, effective Monday, March 30, until after the pandemic crisis eases. This decision was made out of an abundance of care for the well-being of our students, faculty and staff.

There is still a limited supply of Chromebooks and hotspots available for students to request as loaners by completing a reservation request form.

Understanding the impact this may have on many of our students, faculty are asked to consider revising or relaxing course assignment deadlines.

We remain committed to supporting your learning and transition to virtual learning platforms and will continue to offer access to Wifi while ensuring social distancing.

The following Turlock campus parking lots remain equipped with Wifi access for students. You will need your Warrior log-in credentials to access the network:

  • Lot 2 (near the Art Building)
  • Lot 5 (north of Demergasso-Bava Hall)
  • Lot 11 (adjacent to Naraghi Hall)

The following Turlock lots will be online within the next week:

  • Lot 6
  • Lot 7
  • Lot 8

Parking restrictions will be eased in these parking lots. Students won’t be cited if their vehicles are occupied. Information regarding Wifi access for students at the Stockton Campus will be shared as soon as it is available.

Educating students in as safe a manner as possible continues to be our top priority.
