Modifications to Fall 2020 Course Schedule

May 29, 2020

Dear Students:

As you know, Stanislaus State will be offering classes in mostly virtual formats in the fall. Some exceptions will be made for a few very specific courses that have a critical need to meet in person such as labs or studio courses. Since the schedule has already been posted and many of you have already enrolled in your fall classes, we will be making updates to the class schedule to reflect the new, virtual formats, while preserving your current schedules as they are today.

Over the next couple of weeks, you will start to see the location(s) of your courses change from a physical location to an online or virtual delivery method. Please rest assured that your schedules, as you’ve built them currently, will remain the same. Even though the vast majority of your courses will be offered virtually, the days and meeting times of your classes will not change. However, some of your professors may choose to not hold classes at every scheduled meeting time, while others may choose not to have any class meetings, and will provide guidance on how and when coursework should be completed. Once a decision about face-to-face courses is made, we will update the schedule again and send a message to all students in those courses; again, it is possible we may or may not have in-person courses in Fall 2020.

We wanted to let you know before we made this change so that you are not surprised the next time you check out your schedule.

We wish you all the best and we look forward to your continued studies in the fall. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at academicaffairs@csustan.edu.

Sincerely,

Kimberly Greer, Ph.D.
