Cords
Updated: July 9, 2020Additional cords will be mailed starting the week of August 3, 2020
Grades for Spring 2020 have been posted. The Office of the Registrar is clearing students for graduation daily. Once this review process is complete, graduates who are honors eligible OR whose honors eligibility has changed since March 2020, will be mailed a new cord in recognition of their achievement. We anticipate cords to be sent in early August.
Cords will be mailed to the indicated diploma mailing address the graduate has listed on their application to graduate.
Graduates who were cord eligible in March should have already received their cord. If you have not received your cord, please email commencement@csustan.edu.
Eligibility
All students who have an approved Application for Graduation and completed all course work in the Fall of 2019, Spring of 2020 and Summer 2020 are eligible to participate in the 2020 Commencement.
Students must have applied for graduation by April 15, 2020, in order for their names to be included in the online list of graduates.

How to Wear Your Academic Regalia

Photographs
GradImages® was the official photographer for Commencement. Your proofs will be available after the ceremony. To view your proofs online, please visit www.gradimages.com. Pictures may be ordered online, by phone, or by mail. If you have any questions please contact Customer Service at 800-261-2576 or via email at giservice@gradimages.net.
Pre-register with GradImages by visiting www.gradimages.com, and clicking on the Pre-Event Registration at the bottom of the page. This provides them with the most correct and up-to-date contact information and ensures the delivery of your graduation proofs in a timely manner. You may register your email and up to 6 emails of loved ones who would like to share in your accomplishment by viewing and ordering photos.
Procession Assembly
Meeting locations will be announced once new dates for our Commencement ceremonies are determined.
All candidates need to arrive with academic regalia, to prepare for the academic procession. Commencement programs and processional information will be provided. (Bizzini Hall: See Building #2 on Campus Site Map)

Student Speaker Application

An application deadline will be announced once new dates for our Commencement ceremonies are determined.
- Three students will be selected as student commencement speakers, one for each ceremony.
- The Commencement speech should be roughly 5 minutes in length, focus on graduation, and be of broad general interest for graduates, family members, faculty, administrators, and guests.
