How do I log in to Bb?

Use your CSUStan User ID and password, i.e., if your email is, your User ID is jgarcia32. Your password is the same for all CSUStan accounts and login pages. Set or update your password at Contact the Help Desk, L-150, for password assistance.

How do I change my password for Bb?

Go to Under the Login Assistance heading, click Password & Sign In Information. Follow the prompts and links for Initial Sign In or Reset Password.

How do I remove courses that are still displayed in the My Courses module that I no longer need to see?

First, click the small round icon on the top right of the My Courses module. On the Personalize: My Courses page, remove all the check marks from the row of the class you no longer wish to see displayed, then click the Submit button. Although you no longer see those courses, they will be available to you until the instructor turns them off. See Manage My Courses Module (PDF) Let your instructor know if you can see an older course so the instructor can turn it off.

As an Extended Ed student, what do I need to do?

Registration for UEE courses is a manual process. Registration forms are processed in the order they are received. Please allow at least three days for Blackboard access. After your application is processed, your name will be added to Bb and you can log in with your CSUStan User ID and password. Check with UEE if you have additional questions (MSR 240, 667-3111).

Why can't I see my courses on Bb?

Student names are added to Blackboard courses about a week before the first day of instruction. You will see courses in which you name has been added to the Bb roster. If your instructor is not using Bb, the course may be turned off. If you know your instructor is using, contact that instructor.

What files can I upload to Bb?

You can upload most standard computer files (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, audio, video, images). Use ONLY letters (capital or lower case), numerals, and the underscore or hyphen in names of files you upload to Bb. Do not use spaces. If you are uploading multiple files, a file from a "non-standard" application, or HTML files, place the file(s) in a folder, zip/compress the folder, and upload that zipped/compressed file.

Where do I see my Final Grades?

See for your official grades. Bb is our course management system for content and basic information about classes and grades. Not all instructors post grades in Blackboard. Grades posted in Bb are not official grades. Click the My Grades link in the Tools box or in your course to view Bb grades.

What do I need to know about taking tests on Bb?

See the Test Taking Tips page.
