Under the guidance of experienced GVWP teacher consultants, students can grow as they share their writing with fellow students, conference with teachers, and experiment with a variety of genres and creative techniques.

The $250 registration fee includes all class materials, a GVWP T-shirt and an anthology of the students’ writing. A family discount is available for two or more students. To register, contact Alyssa Coelho or the GVWP office at (209) 667-3490 or gvwp@cststan.edu.

The GVWP was established in 1983 and is a local site of the National Writing Project (NWP), the most significant coordinated effort to improve writing in the United States. NWP sites, located on 200 university and college campuses, serve more than 135,000 participants annually.
