Director's Corner

Lisa McMullenHomecoming Week was a time of celebration with many alumni back on campus. During multiple events, we shared stories of our time as students with alumni representing each decade from the 1970’s to the most recent alumni cohort, the Class of 2015. It was a celebratory week, honoring Athletic Hall of Fame inductees and the 1976 National Championship Baseball team. I invite you to take a minute to remember your time on campus: Friends made, encouragement from professors, personal and professional achievements that stem from your experience as a Stan State graduate. We share a lifelong bond, as a network of peers who have shared a common experience at Stan State!

The next opportunity for alumni to come together on campus will be at the 2016 Commencement ceremonies. As an alumni volunteer, you will interact with the next cohort of alumni by presenting the graduates with a University lapel pin as they line up for the processional. Here you will find information about three ceremonies for which you can volunteer. We hope you will join us for one or more of the ceremonies to congratulate and welcome our new alumni.

If you have a 2016 Stan State grad in your life, consider purchasing a Grad Pack for your graduate. The Grad Pack provides all your graduate’s needs; regalia, keepsake box and Stan State branded items to start their alumni status off right! Order one today as we have a limited number available.

In the spirit of honoring your Stan State alumni status, it is always a good time to demonstrate your Warrior pride. Do not forget that as alumni of Stan State, you are able to enjoy a 10% discount on selected merchandise at our campus Barnes & Noble bookstore in store and online.

Thank you for sharing your Warrior pride during Homecoming Week and throughout the spring and Commencement season!

Go Warriors,
Lisa McMullen, ’08
