Record Number of Graduates Celebrates 2019 Commencement
The paths for 3,562 graduates from Stanislaus State converged at the three commencement ceremonies held at the University Amphitheater on May 23-24, and under seasonably cool skies they were encouraged to embrace what they’ve learned from their journeys so far as they embark toward their futures.

Graduating senior Germán Silva is the recipient of a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program award that will provide research opportunities and three years of financial support while he earns his master’s degree and a doctorate in geography at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
