Counselor Education (School Counseling) Program

About the Program

The Counselor Education (School Counseling) Program offers two programs:
One leads to a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Counselor
Education and the second leads to a Master’s Degree in Educationwith a concentration in Counselor Education, as well as the
Pupil Personnel Services Credential. The credential is required of individuals
who want to work in a
K-12 school setting, and a master's degree is required by community
counseling agencies, and institutions of higher education. Candidates may
obtain the master’s degree alone, or both the degree and the credential.

Starting Fall 2014 - The minimum GPA (last 60 units) for program admission is 3.0.

Application for first interview deadline for Fall admission is March 20, 2014.

First and second interview will be held on Monday, April 14th.
