Chicanx Latinx Youth Conference

The Admissions & Outreach Services office at Stanislaus State, in collaboration with on campus student clubs and organizations, hosts an annual Chicanx Latinx Youth Conference for high school students of the Central San Joaquin Valley. Stanislaus State is committed to promoting access to higher education by offering college and career readiness workshops that will motivate and encourage students to pursue their academic goals.

Goals:

  • To encourage students to pursue higher education and increase graduation rates.
  • To provide Central Valley students with the opportunity to network with college students, staff & alumni, as well as be able to ask questions about college life.
  • To provide Chicanx/Latinx youth with educational and cultural workshops that will motivate and empower students.
