Converting UEE Programs to State-Side Programs

If a program wishes to convert a special sessions program to state-support, a brief proposal must be submitted to the Office of Academic Programs after receiving department and college approvals, including the following information:

  • Program description;
  • Rational for making the change; and,
  • Documentation of resources and faculty support, budget, enrollment, need, and the anticipated impact on the community.

Note: The Chancellor's Office has noted that the revised budget is the primary focus of concern when converting to state-funded programs.
