Scholarship contributions help our students achieve academic success and have a significant positive impact on their lives and educational experience. Individual scholarship awards range from $100 to $5,000 per academic year, with the average award being $1,000. Your financial support for student scholarships will continue the CSU Stanislaus tradition of quality education and personal attention.
General Scholarship Fund
Scholarship donations in any amount can be made to this fund that provides monetary support and recognition to students who have demonstrated academic excellence and/or financial need. Students must be enrolled at CSU Stanislaus full time and must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 to receive scholarship support. Each year, we award approximately 400 student scholarships, and the demand is growing. This year, the number of scholarship applications almost doubled from the year prior. Your contribution to the general scholarship fund will help us meet the needs of more students.
Scholarship Criteria
There are many things to consider when establishing a scholarship at California State University, Stanislaus. While it is best to keep criteria as broad as possible for sufficient flexibility, donors may have preferences in a number of areas. Such preferences will be honored, provided they do not conflict with university policies or state and federal laws and regulations. Race, religion, gender, ethnicity or age cannot be factors in selecting a recipient. Such eligibility factors as class level, major field of study, financial need, or academic excellence are examples of acceptable criteria. If you are interested in establishing a scholarship, internship, or award, please complete the Scholarship Criteria Worksheet.pdf to help you determine eligibility criteria.
