We are continually seeking qualified and committed individuals in a variety of academic disciplines to work as University Tutorial center Tutors. Tutors must be willing and committed to helping other, assess individual student needs and provide strategies for student success. Tutors will work under the supervision of the Director of Tutorial Services.
Tutors must be in good academic standing.
Tutors must participate in 10 hours of tutor training and complete 25 hours of tutoring to be eligible for CRLA certification.
CRLA is a group of student-oriented professionals active in the fields of reading, learning assistance, developmental education, and tutorial services at the college/adult level. CRLA is inherently diverse in membership. CRLA's most vital function and overall purpose is to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas, methods, and information to improve student learning and to facilitate the professional growth of its members.
