Course Description
Campus Security Authorities are required to report certain criminal offenses as outlined by federal law; specifically the “Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act” (Clery Act). This PowerPoint course guides you through the basics of the law, defines who is a Campus Security Authority, and helps to identify what types of crimes are reported according the Clery Act. Attendance is recommended upon initial hire and every few years thereafter.
