California State University, Stanislaus
is located on two hundred and twenty-five picturesque acres in the central valley, and is conveniently located only ninety minutes from either the coast or the mountains. Northern California attractions, within one to three hours, include Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, Napa/Sonoma Valleys, Santa Cruz, and Lake Tahoe.
Our park-like setting includes two outdoor venues perfect for a wedding. Sequoia Lake Gazebo offers lakeside seating for a formal outdoor ceremony for up to 400 guests. A lush lawn area located adjacent to the gazebo provides a beautiful setting for a reception. If an intimate outdoor setting is what you envision, then Village Lake, Island or Pergola is the recommended site. This site will accommodate a ceremony and reception of 200 or less in a beautifully landscaped cove, offering footbridges and waterfalls in a garden atmosphere.
For a formal indoor reception, we have a beautiful venue that will accommodate 450 guests in an elegant lodge-style atmosphere. The hardwood floors, padded chairs, floor-to-ceiling fireplace, and impressive chandelier provide an inviting ambiance with an air of grandeur for your guests. Our other indoor, reception venue offers an intimate space with a fireplace and room for a dinner- style reception of 80 or less. |

On the California State University, Stanislaus campus we have apartment-style housing that offers convenient bridal party preparation rooms, in addition to guest accommodations, all within walking distance of any location on campus. Amenities include a swimming pool, game room, fitness center, and vending services. Rooms are available from mid-June until mid-August.
Fresh valley produce and ingredients, custom menus, and creative presentation are the standard for our campus caterer. Professional and experienced staff will attend to all of your needs and ensure every detail of your menu and service, so you can fully enjoy the most important day of your lives. |
