Eligibility
Promise Scholars Applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be a former foster youth between the ages of 17-23
- Must be a California resident
- Qualify for admissions to CSU Stanislaus
- Qualify for admissions to the Educational Opportunity Program of CSU Stanislaus
- Complete the FAFSA
- Qualify for "Independent" Student Status under federal financial aid guidelines
- Must be motivated to pursue a college degree
- If select, must be willing to participate in the EOP Summer Bridge Program
