| NASPAA |
The MPA program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA ) and has been placed on the National Roster of programs conforming with NASPAA standards for professional graduate degrees in public administration. NASPAA is a professional education association consisting of over 200 academic institutions offering graduate and undergraduate public administration majors or degrees. It serves as a national center for information about programs and development in this field, fosters goals and standards of educational excellence, and represents the concerns of its membership in the formulation and support of governmental policies for education and research in public policy and administration. |

| GASPA |
| The Graduate Association of Students in Public Administration (GASPA) represents students enrolled in the MPA program at California State University, Stanislaus. The association exists to provide student input into curriculum, aid in the evaluation of faculty and courses, plan seminars that bring well-known theorists and practitioners to the campus, assist with job placement and generally foster an atmosphere of cooperation between community, graduate students, and faculty. You become a member of GASPA when you are admitted to the MPA program and register for classes. |
| ASPA |
The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA ) is a national organization for persons interested in improving the public service at all levels of government. Its varied programs involve the exchange, development and dissemination of information about public administration. Founded in 1939, its members come from all ranks of government-local, state and federal-plus university faculty, researchers, students, consultants, and nonprofit organization employees. You are strongly encouraged to join this organization. Membership includes:
- Public Administration Review, a bimonthly professional journal and one of the leading sources of information, opinion and comment on public administration
- Public Administration Times, a newspaper featuring news of the Society and highlighting current issues affecting the public service (including the Public Administration Recruiter-a listing of job announcements).
- Low cost registration for regional and national ASPA conferences where leading practitioners and academicians address the latest topics of interest in the public administration field.
