Password Requirements
- Must be at least twelve (12) characters in length or longer (it is recommended passwords be 15 characters or longer.)
- Must contain a combination of 3 out of the 4 following character types:
- At least one uppercase alphabetic (A-Z)
- At least one lowercase alphabetic (a-z)
- At least one special character (! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; etc.)
- At least one number (0-9)
Must not contain
- Any portion of your name (first, middle, last)
- Your own user ID
- Must be changed every 6 months (180 days)
- May only be reused after 5 new passwords are selected
It is recommended you minimize
- Repetitive character sequences
- Common words found in a dictionary
