...is an internationally recognized performer. He has performed to critical acclaim in Europe and the western United States.
With pianist Ivan Rosenblum, as the Wolford/Rosenblum Duo, Dale has premiered many new works including Sonata for Saxophone & Piano by Gunther Schuller. The Duo has released three compact discs, "Laughter and Tears-A Jewish Saga" on the Centaur label "More than Sax," on Gliddon Records, and "Kurt Weill Kabaret" on Laurel Records with soprano Pamela Alexander.
In addition to his performances with the Wolford/Rosenblum Duo, he is a member of The Morosco Saxophone Quartet, which recently released "Originations" a new CD of music by Victor Morosco. He has also performed with Philip Glass, The San Francisco Saxophone Quartet, the San Francisco Symphony, San Jose Symphony, and the Nuclear Whales Saxophone Orchestra, with whom he has made two recordings.
