Primary Performing Organizations: Wind Ensemble The Symphony Band Stanislaus Symphony Orchestra Chorale  Keyboard and Guitar majors must consult their advisor regarding this requirement.

Secondary Performing Organizations: University Chamber Singers Jazz Ensemble Instrumental Chamber Music Opera Workshop The Symphony Band Percussion Ensemble Women's Vocal Ensemble

It is the departments policy that the student who is majoring in music is required to participate in at least one major performing organization each semester. Choice of the major performing group will be determined by the student's major medium of performance.

All performing organizations offer one unit of credit per semester and are open to all students upon recommendation of the conductor, or by audition.
