Senior Camp is open to all band, orchestra, choral, and piano students (pianists: please see information on piano page link above), who have completed grades nine through twelve in the spring of 2012. In addition to concert band, orchestra, and choir as major performing ensembles, students will have the opportunity to perform in chamber ensembles and may take a variety of elective classes including conducting, music history, music theory, beginning piano, vocal techniques, composition, jazz ensemble and improvisation. Private lessons from faculty may also be available for an additional fee. An audition tape is required for all graduating eighth grade instrumentalists wishing to enroll in Senior Session. The tape should consist of a two-octave scale and a solo that demonstrates technical and musical ability.
