Beginning Piano - This class is for students who have had NO piano training. The class will emphasize left/right hand coordination, basic skills, and two hand reading.
Music Theory - Theory is an essential part of being a musician. Expand your knowledge of music and how it is written. Classes are available for all levels and you will be placed in the appropriate level based on the theory test.
Conducting - An introduction to the art of conducting. The course will cover basic baton technique and conducting gestures. Participants should bring a baton or $10 to the first class to purchase one.
Electronic Music - Come explore creating, composing and improvising your music using the amazing tools provided by computer software. Learn how to do an arrangement, transpose it, create a recording of it and print out the parts. Class size is limited.
Jazz Improvisation - This class will cover beginning through advanced jazz improvisation. ANY instrumentalist may take this class.
Music Listening - In this class you will be learning how to listen to music to be able to recognize what kind of form its in, and even predict what’s coming next. You will be exposed to music you may not have heard before. It’ll be lots of fun!!
Percussion for non-Percussionists - A comprehensive, fun overview of percussion instruments and percussion technique. If you do not already play percussion this class is for YOU! Sticks and mallets will be provided.
Rockstar Class - Learn basic skills for performing Modern Rock, then use those skills to learn and play a few of Rock's great anthems at the end of the week. Must have guitars/bass. Limited class size, auditions may be required. Needed: 2 Guitarists, Drummer, Bassist, and Vocalist.

Singing for Instrumentalists - Vocal techniques for instrumentalists that enjoy singing. Also incorporates intermediate ear training. Join us for a fun class that will help improve your confidence about singing and improve your ear when playing your instrument!
Basic Ear Training - Learn the basic techniques of solfeggio (do, re, mi, etc.) and two part rhythms. Come have fun while developing a better sense of pitch and intonation, two concepts that can greatly improve your playing and/ or singing.
Advanced Conducting - The class is for students who have had some conducting experience. The class reaches more in depth to the art of conducting.
